Essentials: Doors open at 8:00am. Bring a large bottle of water. Floor is not carpeted. Bring a yoga mat, blanket, or sheepskin and a shawl. Wear modest, white/off-white clothes and a white head cover. Head covers are $2 at the course. Baseball caps, loose scarves, colored bandanas are not appropriate. Wear shoes to restrooms. No scents or essential oils. Turn off all electronics. Vegan lunch provided. The ending time of the course is variable. You should prepare your schedule to be available till 7:00pm.

Woman Warrior workshops provides a gentle yet powerful healing space for women who have experienced sexual trauma.
These workshops are a place for you to feel safe and secure as you move forward in your healing journey.
Led by survivor and activist Halli Jastaran Faulkner, Woman Warrior workshops use the tools of Kundalini Yoga; movement, breath, and mantra to tap into your own healing power.
Woman Warrior workshops welcome all women who have experienced sexual trauma. Everyone who identifies as a woman is welcome – we find strength in coming together as a diverse group of survivors. No yoga/meditation experience is necessary – all that’s necessary is an open heart.
Each workshop includes breath work, yoga movement, rest, relaxation and group meditation. Some of this meditation will be silent, and some will use chanting or mantra.
Workshop themes include grounding, centering, pleasure, prosperity, joy, abundance, deservedness, balance, and well-being.
It’s time to take back our lives.

Halli started practicing yoga and meditation when she was 17 years old.
In 2012, she fell in love with yoga as a tool for processing trauma, healing deep wounds, and connecting with her destiny.
In 2014, Halli trained with Krishna Kaur in Los Angeles to become a certified Kundalini Yoga teacher. She is also trained in teaching kids yoga and trauma-informed yoga.
Musician Snatam Kaur reminds us that “love pours forth from the heart of the universe” – it is this love that Halli expresses in her Woman Warrior workshops. She leads, teaches, pushes, and empowers with love – understanding that survivors already have exactly what they need to heal.

Learn the fundamentals and basics necessary to have and to teach a comfortable asana and meditation practice.
Understanding how to build and grow postures, with the core components of each asana.
Learn what Yogi Bhajan called the “The Highest form of Wisdom,” – learn to Relax!
Unlock the patterns of tension in your body and mind, so you can listen to your soul.
Understand the internal building blocks and foundational aspects that are in all asana and how the practice on one asana can affect how you are able to improve or not in other asana.
You will learn to safely approach any asana at any level, the secrets of spinal flex, the power of the Bandhs and where, when and how much to apply them. How to teach Asanas and Kriyas correctly. How to safely approach any asana that may have hurt you previously or you were scared to try. Find an ease in even challenging Asanas and Kriyas. Learn the importance of how you practice and to enjoy being in your body.
You will improve your posture, flexibility, breathing, strength, movement, and awareness of your body and how to positively expresses your mind and emotions. You will enhance and amplify your ability to teach, ability to comfortably sit and thus your ability to meditate deeply.

Requirements for Divine Alignment Certificate of Completion:
Fully attend and participate for the entire 2 days of the course
Be a Certified KY TT Level I KY Teacher or already be a 200 hour Certified Yoga Teacher in another Yoga Tradition
Take the Divine Alignment written exam and pass with 75% or better.
Teach 2 Asana during the course using the terms/language from the Divine Alignment course.
Purchasing, studying, reading and practicing with the books: Divine Alignment & the Heart Rules (paper or electronic)
Successful completion of 40 days of an assigned Kriya of self-practice using the terminology from the course and Divine Alignment and The Heart Rules books, homework submitted by written journal.
Course is open to all serious practitioners whatever your level: beginner, long time practitioner or expert. All will learn something new that can bring more ease, strength and flexibility to your practice and enhance your ability to teach others to approach asana safely. The course is geared towards teachers and teaching.
